On the morning of May 29, the signing ceremony for the cooperation agreement between Shenzhen MSU-BIT University and Shenzhen University of Advanced Technology was held grandly in the latter’s campus. A delegation from Shenzhen MSU-BIT University, led by President Li Hezhang and First Vice President & Academic Committee Chairman Ivanchenko Sergei visited Shenzhen University of Advanced Technology to sign the cooperation agreement and hold talks with Party Secretary Zhu Dijian, President Fan Jianping and Provost & Academic Committee Chairman Zhao Wei from Shenzhen University of Advanced Technology.
During the talks, Ivanchenko Sergei and Zhao Wei signed the cooperation agreement on behalf of their schools.
President Li Hezhang presented Shenzhen MSU-BIT University’s development history and achievements, and its commitment to building an important platform for cultural, educational and technological cooperation between China and Russia by leveraging the high-quality educational resources of both China and Russia. He emphasized that both universities bear significant national and regional strategic missions, and this cooperation will strengthen their partnership and provide new power for their high-quality development by making full use of their special advantages.
President Fan Jianping extended a warm welcome to President Li Hezhang and his delegation, and introduced Shenzhen University of Advanced Technology’s educational development and its innovative rapid development path for research-oriented universities developed by leveraging the rich high-quality scientific, educational and industrial resources of top-level research institutions including Shenzhen Institutes of Advanced Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He hoped that both universities could strengthen their cooperation to make greater contributions to serving national strategies and building China into an education power.
Before the signing ceremony, President Li Hezhang and his delegation inspected the campus and collegiate construction of Shenzhen University of Advanced Technology, and Shenzhen Engineering Biological Industry Innovation Center, etc.
Heads of Planning & Finance Department, Academic Affairs Department, Facilities Assurance Department, Research Affairs Department and Administration Office of Shenzhen MSU-BIT University, and heads of Party & Administration Office, Teaching Affairs Office, Research Industry Department, Finance & Asset Department and Admission & Cooperation Department of Shenzhen University of Advanced Technology also attended the event.
