On November 16th, 2018, the delegation led by Pavel Zemčík, Professor of the Faculty of Information Technology at Brno University of Technology, Czech Republic, visited our University. Acting Rector Tang Shuiyuan held talks with the guests in Room 431.
Acting rector Tang Shuiyuan expressed his welcome to the delegation and introduced the university faculty, education plan and long-term planning of the University to the guests. He also voiced his hope that both parties to step up exchanges and cooperation in related fields, to promote teacher and student exchanges and to facilitate the cooperation in scientific research between Czech talents and Shenzhen MSU-BIT University.
Professor Pavel Zemčík expressed his gratitude to Acting Rector Tang Shuiyuan for his warm reception and introduced basic information about Brno University of Technology, the Faculty of Information Technology and the University’s results of the Industry-University-Research collaboration. Professor Pavel Zemčík said that he would actively promote the exchanges of teachers and students between the two schools, and hoped that concrete results could be achieved as soon as possible. He also invited the delegation of Shenzhen MSU-BIT University to visit Brno University of Technology in the future.
Acting Rector Tang Shuiyuan accompanied the guests to visit the school's transitional campus and the architectural model of the permanent campus. Staff from the University’s Office and Academics Department also attended the meeting.
