Undergraduate Thesis Pass Rate up to 100%, Manifesting the Hard Power of MSU-BIT University in Education and Teaching Quality

Recently, the Department of Education of Guangdong Province issued a Notice on the Inspection Expert Evaluation Opinions on the Undergraduate Thesis (Design) in the 2023-2024 Academic Year. According to the notice, MSU-BIT University had 7 undergraduate theses (designs) randomly inspected by the "National Undergraduate Thesis (Design) Inspection Information Platform", and these 7 undergraduate theses (designs) achieved a pass rate of 100%, without any "problematic thesis". The university was one of seven universities whose undergraduate theses (designs) pass the inspection in Guangdong Province.

The undergraduate thesis (design) inspection is an important work carried out by the Department of Education of Guangdong Province in order to implement the requirements of the Undergraduate Thesis (Design) Inspection Measures (Trial) (JD [2020] No.5). The inspection aims at strengthening the quality awareness of colleges and universities and strictly controlling the graduation. MSU-BIT University has always considered the quality of education as the foundation of the school. Its undergraduate thesis (design) work has formed a whole process quality assurance system covering topic selection and proposal, thesis writing, defense and review according to the Administrative Measures for Undergraduate, Master and Doctoral Thesis Supervision of MSU-BIT University (Trial), Undergraduate Design (Thesis) Writing Specifications, Excellent Undergraduate Design (Thesis) Selection Measures of MSU-BIT University and other rules and regulations.

Since the first participation in the national undergraduate graduation thesis (design) inspection in 2022, the university has achieved the pass rate of 100% for three consecutive years, manifesting its hard power in undergraduate education and talent cultivation. In the future, MSU-BIT University will further promote the scientific and fine management of thesis (design) work, continuously improving the basic academic quality of undergraduate students and enhancing the quality of talent cultivation.
